Wednesday June 7th was a super fun freighter wave surfing day on Shilshole Bay. The weather felt like summer - hot, glassy water and a bunch of good friends out hoping to catch a wave or two. We had 2 boats going south, both put off decent waves.
The waves in the video were from the first boat Ever Smile (and we were smiling) going 20kts. The bow wave put off chest high sets pretty far out. Surfing my 14' Imagine Connector I caught waves a few hundred yards off shore and in this one, taking it all the way in.
